Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Enterprise Support group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Microsoft 365 Cloud Administrator / Engineer! This team works a remote 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities Include:
Use the Microsoft 365 platform, including desktop applications and online services across desktop and mobile (BYOD) devices.

Perform as a Microsoft 365 administrator (Administrator) for our production and non-production tenants.

Configure and manage of services including but not limited to Teams, Exchange, Power Platform, Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Azure Sentinel and other related products and services.

Have, expand, and maintain the skills necessary to support the services outlined above.
Gain and maintain a basic understanding of INL Information Technology infrastructure, cyber security, data classification, release control, and other related policies and procedures.

Gain and maintain an understanding of standards and expectations provided by Enterprise Architecture and system owners.

Contribute to development and maintenance of documentation, standards, training materials and other artifacts related to Microsoft 365.

Have an ongoing focus on personal professional development, to analyze the current environment, advocate for improvements, and work toward creative solutions to complex problems as they arise.

Perform as cloud administrator for Power Platform services implementation, serving as the support liaison for Data Analytics team and other report builders and users.

Recommend and implement configurations according to INL Architecture and Security standards.
Act as domain expert for implementing, managing, and monitoring INL’s Microsoft Azure environment.

Provide design input and analysts on project achievements; analyzes weaknesses and recommends system improvements.
RequirementsBachelors plus 5 years experience or Advanced Degree & 3 years relevant experience or 13 years relevant education/experience in lieu of a bachelor's. Applicants are subject to the requirements of DOE O 142.3B, Unclassified Foreign National Access Program National Access Program. Accepted degrees include but are not limited to the following: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software engineering, Information Services. Minimum five years hands-on experience administering O365 (on premise and cloud), along with a strong understanding of Microsoft cloud services including O365, Power Platform services, SharePoint, and Azure. Strong experience supporting M365 applications and support consoles/tools. Strong experience using PowerShell, SQL and other Microsoft administrative tools. Experience with platform as a service (PAAS) administration Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability and willingness to take on new challenges. Sound judgment and decision-making is a constant requirement to achieve results. Must be able to prioritize activities and resolve complex technology problems, working alone or with others. Must be self-motivated and able to take the lead for timely resolution of issues. Preferred Requirements: Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365, Stream, Flow, Delve, and other emerging Microsoft 365 functionality. Experience with other Microsoft cloud services, including Exchange Online, Teams, Azure AD, SharePoint, and Power Platform. Experience with Microsoft development technologies, including .Net and .Net Core. Experience with containerization technologies.
