Philip C. Roth is the leader of the Algorithms and Performance Analysis group within the National Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He has been a member of ORNL’s research and development staff since 2004. His research involves scalable performance analysis and optimization techniques for software running on high performance computers such as those hosted by the NCCS’ Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility, and is also interested in emerging architectures and programming models for accelerators.
