Biography
Tom Scogland is a postdoctoral scholar in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a technology enthusiast, programmer, productivity nut, and avid cook. His research focuses on technologies for addressing the ever-growing complexity of high performance computing systems and nodes, including job scheduling, task scheduling and programming models. He also explores related topics such as green computing, heterogeneous computing, and next-generation resource management.

Tom holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, and a B.S. from Purdue University in Computer Science.
