Jesus Carretero

Biography
Jesus Carretero is a Full Professor of Computer Architecture and Technology at University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain), since 2002, where he leads the Computer Architecture research group. His research activity is centered on HPC systems, large-scale distributed systems, and real-time systems. He is coordinator of the ADMIRE project, where he pushes the development of dynamically adaptive HPC systems by means of I/O and computing malleability mechanisms. He was also Action Chair of the IC1305 COST Action "Network for Sustainable Ultrascale Computing Systems (NESUS)". He has been General chair of HPCC 2011, ISPA 2016 and CCGRID 2017 conferences. Prof. Carretero is a senior member of the IEEE Computer Society. He holds a PhD in Informatics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain).
