Kees Joost Batenburg is currently a Professor with the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science and his chair is Imaging and Visualization. He founded the FleX-Ray Laboratory with Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, where a custom-designed CT system is linked to advanced data processing and reconstruction algorithms. He has authored or coauthored more than 80 journal articles and more than 60 conference papers in the field of tomographic image processing and reconstruction.
