Biography
Dr. Georgia (Gina) Tourassi is Division Director of the National Center for Computational Sciences and the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility. She has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. She joined ORNL in 2011, after two decades in academia. Her scientific work is at the intersection of high performance computing, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine (https://www.ornl.gov/staff-profile/georgia-tourassi).
