Dawn Hunter serves as a program manager in the Education & Outreach group at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at the University of Texas (UT) at Austin. Since 2016, she has focused on recruitment and outreach at Title I schools along with program implementation of TACC’s K-16 outreach programs. As a core team member of TACC’s Education & Outreach summer programs, Ms. Hunter administers program recruitment, outreach, planning and logistics of targeted student programs, student residential housing and safety, employment and management of college camp counselors, and is the primary designated camp director for TACC’s Youth Protection Program. From 2009–2016, she spent four years leading and implementing activities for after-school programs. Ms. Hunter also led recruitment for the Equal Opportunity in Engineering program at the UT Cockrell School of Engineering. Prior to 2009, Ms. Hunter spent over 10 years as a Customer Service Engineer.
