Biography
Carla M. Mann is a computational biologist and postdoctoral appointee in Arvind Ramanathan’s lab at Argonne National Laboratory, with a joint appointment at the University of Chicago. She received her Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Iowa State University. Her research interests include designing large language models for CRISPR/Cas9 gRNA activity prediction, protein design, and disease variant prediction.
