Dr Chris Goddard is a Computational Science Engineer at Rolls-Royce in the UK and is a member of the team working on the EPSRC Prosperity Partnership for Advanced Simulation and Modelling of Virtual Systems (ASiMoV), which aims to achieve the world's first high-fidelity simulation of a complete gas turbine engine during operation. His professional interests include High Performance Computing (HPC), visualisation, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and combustion modelling.

He is a member of the ACM and the Institute of Physics (IOP).
