Biography
Michael Ferguson is a designer and developer of the Chapel parallel programming language at HPE. Michael’s focus is on making it easier to program distributed memory systems while also enabling applications to perform well. To that end, Michael has worked on runtime and compile-time communication optimizations as well as language design adjustments that make it easier to write correct and performant programs.
