
Biography
Sameh Abdulah received the MS and Ph.D. degrees from Ohio State University, Columbus, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He joined the PNNL lab as a Ph.D. student intern in 2015. He is currently a research scientist with the Extreme Computing Research Center, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. His work is centered around high-performance computing applications, big data, large spatial datasets, parallel statistical applications, algorithm-based fault tolerance, machine learning, and data mining algorithms. He is an active reviewer and member of the program committee of several HPC venues including, TPDS, SC, ISC, HiPC, and IPDPS.
