Dr. Yu Wang received the PhD degree in genomics and bioinformatics from the Technical University of Munich. He studied AI at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. He later moved to Munich, Germany, and joined MIPS, Helmholtz Zentrum München where he primarily worked with small RNA in plants, using computational methods. Before returning to China in 2019, he was affiliated with Leibniz Supercomputing Center. He is currently a professor at Peng Chen Laboratory, Shen Zhen China, working on AI for Life Science.
