Robert Henschel is Program Director of Research Engagement at Indiana University. He is responsible for working with IU faculty and research teams to facilitate the efficient usage of IU’s HPC systems to reduce time to science. Henschel recently served as the chair of the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) High Performance Group and in this role led the development of production quality benchmarks for HPC systems. He also served as the treasurer of the OpenACC organization. Henschel has a deep background in High Performance Computing and his research interests focus on performance analysis of parallel applications.
