Alexis Espinosa is a Supercomputing Applications Specialist at Pawsey Supercomputing Centre where he gives support to research groups on the use and optimization of HPC tools. Alexis is a Mechanical Engineer, completed a PhD in Environmental Engineering at the University of Western Australia and has worked on Computational Fluid Dynamics research for 20+ years. After joining Pawsey 4.5 years ago, he has been part of the team supporting containerized workflows, including tools for CFD, bioinformatics, astronomy, and machine learning.
