Weiqun Zhang is a Senior Computer Systems Engineer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His primary professional interest is in high-performance computing and computational physics. He is the chief software architect of the AMReX Co-Design Center funded by the Exascale Computing Project, and a developer of the WarpX code also funded by ECP. He received a Ph.D. degree in astrophysics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
