Zheming Jin

Biography
Dr. Jin obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Carolina. As a postdoc at Argonne National Laboratory, he evaluated high-level synthesis using Intel FPGAs, and showed that FPGAs are becoming a promising heterogenous computing component for supercomputing. As an Intel oneAPI innovator, he has been studying performance portability across CUDA, HIP, SYCL, and OpenMP by developing open-source programs, benchmarks, and applications. His research interests have been influenced by Zhang-jin Chen, Jason Bakos, Hal Finkel, and Jeffrey Vetter.
