
Biography
Michael E. Papka is currently the director of the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility and deputy associate laboratory director for Computing, Environment, and Life Sciences at Argonne National Laboratory, where he works as a senior scientist. His background and research interests include scientific visualization, large-scale data analysis, and building research infrastructure supporting science. He is also a professor of computer science at the University of Illinois Chicago and a member of the Electronic Visualization Laboratory.
