Bhupendra Raut is working on the National Science Foundation's Sage midscale infrastructure project with the Northwestern-Argonne Institute of Science and Engineering, Illinois. He received an M.Sc. degree in Space Sciences and a Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Pune, India. He conducted postdoctoral research at Monash University, Australia, and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, India. His research interest is in dynamics and micro-physics of rain and improving atmospheric observations through machine learning techniques.
