Mariam Kiran
Biography
Kiran's research interests include decentralized machine learning techniques for reinforcement and near real-time agent reaction, parallel computing, workflow improvements and high performance networks. Previously, she investigated scaling techniques on grids, GPUs and Cloud computing for data-intensive simulations and science applications. She is the recipient of the DOE Early Career Award in 2017 and held previously held fellowships such as a Royal Society 'Scientists in Westminister' and EPSRC promising early career scientists. I also serve as an EU reviewer for Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowships and Horizon2020 ICT calls.
