Karen Tomko is the Director of Research Software Applications at the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC). She serves as manager of the OSC Scientific Applications group which is responsible for deployment of software for data analytics, modeling and simulation on the center’s HPC systems. Her research interests are in the field of parallelization and performance improvement for High Performance Computing and AI. She leads an NSF Cybertraining pilot project to increase the AI expertise of CI Professionals and is a member of the ICICLE AI Institute leadership team.
