Ashley Tung recently graduated Harvey Mudd College with a joint major in Computer Science and Math. She is currently a Software Engineer at MemVerge, working on transparent checkpointing solutions on virtual machines. Before MemVerge, Ashley worked with her college’s IT department for four years, creating accessible faculty websites and dynamic digital signs for college departments. She is especially interested in seamless user experiences in the integration of bioinformatic workflows with spot instances for the potential cost-saving value it can provide for people.
