Chaowei Xiao is an assistant professor at Arizona State University and a research scientist at NVIDIA Research. Dr. Xiao received his B.E. degree in the School of Software from Tsinghua University in 2015 and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Department from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2020, respectively. His research interests lie at the intersection of computer security, privacy, and machine learning. His works have been featured in multiple media outlets, including Wired, Fortune, IEEE SPECTRUM. One of his research outputs is now on display at the Science Museum in London. He has received the best paper award at Modicum 2014 and ESWN 2021.
