
Biography
John Goodhue is the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center, a data center and consortium that serves more than 20,000 researchers, students, and educators. In addition to operation of an energy efficient data center, John collaborates on infrastructure for research computing, through his work on the MGHPCC Research Education and Outreach working group, as a co-PI on the Northeast Storage Exchange and the Open Storage Network, and as a steering committee member for the Northeast Big Data Hub and the Eastern Regional Network. As PI for the Northeast Cyberteam, he has applied focus to partnerships that make advanced computing more accessible to researchers. John’s interests include developing the next generation of computing professionals, with emphasis on diversity, through his work on the Northeast Cyberteam, the Expanding Computer Science Education Pathways Alliance. the MGHPCC internship program, Holyoke Codes, and local workforce development partnerships at the MGHPCC.
