Biography
Stephan Jaure obtained a Masters degree in mechanical engineering from ENSMA Poitiers (France) and a PhD at Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (France) working in partnership with CERFACS and Snecma (Safran group) on multi-phyisics simulation of aeronautical gas turbine combustion chambers on massively parallel computers. He continued working in the high performance computing sector, first as an HPC application expert at SGI, helping Total develop a massively parallel reservoir Simulator. Then as an HPC Senior expert at BULL/ATOS, where he has done application benchmarking, now he focuses on source code optimization and/or porting codes to novel architectures. He has been helping CEA WarpX team port Warpx to A64FX.
