Sameer Deshmukh

Biography
Sameer is a Ph.D. student in the Rio Yokota Lab at the Department of Computer Science at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. His main research interests include efficient parallelization of hierarchical matrix operations on the latest supercomputers. He has previously worked on low level micro-optimization of low rank matrix kernels, and is currently working on efficient distributed parallelization of hierarchical matrix factorization.
