Esteban Meneses is the director of the National Advanced Computing Collaboratory at the National High Technology Center in Costa Rica. He also holds a partial appointment as a computer science professor at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. His research activities revolve around high performance computing, teaching, writing, and developing tools for supercomputing and scientific computing. He is part of the board of the Advanced Computing System for Latin America and Caribe (SCALAC).
