Sean R. Wilkinson is a Research Scientist in the Workflow and Ecosystem Services Group at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF). Prior to joining OLCF, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow on the BigPanDA project with high-energy physicists from the ATLAS Collaboration, having completed his doctorate in biomedical engineering while working with bioinformaticians and pathologists at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Currently, the main thrust of his research is in the emerging area of FAIR workflows, for which he co-chairs the Workflows Community Initiative (WCI) FAIR Computational Workflows working group. Other research interests include cross-facility workflows, reproducibility, and cancer research with the Veterans Affairs (VA) Million Veteran Program (MVP).
