Biography
Yu-Hsiang Mike Tsai is a Ph.D. student in Hartwig Anzt's group at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He completed his Master's Degree in Applied Mathematical Science at the National Taiwan University in 2019. He specializes in designing and optimizing kernels for GPUs from AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA. Recently, he received the PPAM best workshop paper award for developing a mixed precision Algebraic Multigrid (AMG) method in Ginkgo, the first algebraic multigrid that can execute also on GPUs from Intel.
