Biography
Dr. Henri Vincenti is a research director and head of the theory and modeling group in the Physics at High-Intensity Program at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). He obtained a MSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Centrale-Supelec (2009), a MSc in Physics from Ecole Polytechnique (2009) and a Ph.D. in physics from Ecole Polytechnique (2013), in France. After his Ph.D., he obtained a three-year Marie Curie postdoctoral Fellowship from the European Commission to work for three years as a research scientist in the Accelerator and Modelling Program at ATAP/LBNL. In 2017, he obtained a permanent physicist position at CEA where he founded, one year later, the theoretical and numerical branch of the Physics at High-Intensity Program. His main research activities focus on the theoretical and numerical modeling of high-intensity laser-matter interactions as well as the development of new kinetic simulation tools at exascale.
