Weslley Pereira is a hybrid, Mathematician and Computer Scientist, passionate about Applied Mathematics. He holds bachelor's degrees in Computational Engineering (2014) and Computer Science (2016), a master's degree in Mathematics (2015), and doctorate in Computational Science and Modeling (2019). Since February 2021, he has been working with research and software development for the LAPACK and related libraries. He holds a position of Research Associate at the University of Colorado Denver since August 2021. He also develops research in collaboration with the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing in Brazil. During graduation and research, he has acquired a large experience in Numerical Analysis, especially for Finite Element methods, in Development of Numerical Methods, and Numerical Software Development from serial to highly-heterogeneous parallel algorithms. He is member of SIAM and of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science.
