Grant Wilkins is a senior at Clemson University pursuing a dual B.S. in Computer Engineering and Mathematics. He specializes in energy-reduction techniques for data transmission and looks to apply these strategies to high-performance computing (HPC) and the Internet of things (IoT) technologies. For this work and early-career innovation he was awarded the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship and Astronaut Scholarship in 2022. His research interests lie at the intersection of energy-aware computing, distributed computing, HPC, IoT, fault-tolerance, and green computing.
