Aaron Weeden works for the Shodor Education Foundation where he has coordinated undergraduate internship programs for the NSF Blue Waters and XSEDE projects and an apprenticeship program for local high school students. He is the technical editor of the Journal of Computational Science Education and has taught hundreds of hours of workshops on programming concepts, parallel computing concepts, and parallel computing curriculum development for middle school students, high school students, undergraduate students and faculty, and beginning graduate students. He also mentors students in web development projects. Aaron is a member of the SIGHPC Education Chapter and an education affiliate of the Campus Champions.
