Xin Liang is an assistant professor with the Department of Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Prior to that, he worked as a Computer/Data Scientist in the Workflow Systems Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. degree from University of California, Riverside in 2019 and his bachelor’s degree from Peking University in 2014. His research interests include high-performance computing, parallel and distributed systems, scientific data management and reduction, big data analytic, and scientific visualization.
