
Biography
Maulik Shukla is a Project Lead and Computational Scientist at the Data Science and Learning Division at Argonne National Laboratory, with a joint appointment at the University of Chicago. He leads the Bacterial and Viral Bioinformatics Resources Center, funded by National Institute of Health and Infectious Diseases. His primary research interests include development of automated annotation systems of microbial and viral genomes, high-throughput bioinformatics data analysis services, novel tools for comparative genomic and AMR analysis, integration of multi-omics data to support system-level hypothesis generation, experiment design, and development of predictive AI models for AMR, cancer drug response prediction, and drug discovery.
