Computational Scientist (m/f/d) for AI and Data-Driven Applications in High-Performance Computing (Containers, Machine Learning, Parallel Python, Frameworks, Cloud, Workflows Automation, Kubernetes)
for technology evaluation and support of compute projects on our high-performance systems.

RequirementsThis is what we expect from you • Proficiency/experience in at least one or more of the following technologies • Machine Learning/AI: Application, Frameworks • (Parallel) Python, Julia, novel scripting languages • Cloud computing, Kubernetes • Containerization in the cloud and/or HPC • Proficiency working in Linux environments • Good German or English writing and presentation skills • Friendly contact with our users in second and third level support • Masters degree in computer science, physics, computational chemistry, mathematics or other areas of scientific computing These additional skills are appreciated: • Programming experience in C, C++, Fortran • Git, GitLab, CI/CD • CUDA / SYCL / OpenMP programming of GPUs • High performance computing • Package manager: SPACK, EasyBuild • Jupyter Lab / Jupyter Hub
