SUMMARY:ZJUSCT
DESCRIPTION:Student Cluster Competition\n\nZJUSCT\n\nChen, Yang, Chen, Pan
, Xu...\n\nZihan Yang, Yi Chen, and Yun Pan are junior students majoring i
n Computer Science and have participated in ASC twice. Kaiqi Chen, from Ch
u Kochen Honors College, Xingjian Qian, majoring in Computer Science, and
Shaojun Xu, majoring in Control Science and Engineering, are sophomore stu
dents and have one ASC experience. Besides, three students are on the ISC2
2 team.\n\nAll of us are members of the Zhejiang University Supercomputing
Team(ZJUSCT), the HPC interest group in ZJU. Each year, new members from
various majors will join the team, bringing the vigor of youth. We communi
cate and obtain well-trained HPC skills here. Our common interests bring u
s together. Exchange, learning from each other, and making progress togeth
er are the main themes of our daily life. The new members inherit the team
from the old, growing more talented, year after year. In competitions, th
ere are challenges from different domain science disciplines, helping us t
o find out how to practice HPC skills in interdisciplinary work. Being one
of the biggest supercomputing competitions in the world, SCC has always b
een our dream. We fully acknowledge the fame and the success of SCC, while
we have never participated in this huge event.\n\n\nWe crave to challenge
the most challenging HPC problems. We hope to analyze them, try different
ways to solve them and obtain our approach to them. The experience in the
competition will help us realize our potential and leap beyond our limits
. After we have participated in various HPC competitions, we found that di
fferent competitions have different focuses. The SCC will be a brand new c
hallenge and platform to improve our academic skills.\n\n# Team Advisor\n\
nJianhai Chen is currently an Associate Professor in the College of Comput
er Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, the super-visor of the ZJU
Supercomputing Team, and the leader of Intelligent Computing and System L
ab. IEEE, ACM, CCF member. Member of CCF Blockchain Professional Committee
.\n\n\nZeke Wang is a ZJU100 Young Professor at Zhejiang University in Com
puter Science. His research interest is to use various heterogeneous devic
es, e.g., FPGAs and GPUs, to build Deep Learning training systems, with a
focus on giant model training.\n\nShuibing He is currently a ZJU100 Young
Professor. His research areas include intelligent computing, parallel and
distributed computing, file and storage systems, non-volatile memory, in-m
emory computing, operating systems, and big data processing.\n\nYin Zhang
is an associate professor at the College of Computer Science and Technolog
y at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. His research interests lie in c
ompilers for AI chips, code representation learning, and textual and visua
l content analysis.\n\nWeiwei Xu is currently a researcher at the state ke
y lab of CAD&CG at Zhejiang University. His research interests lie in comp
uter graphics, especially physical simulation and computer animation, comp
utational geometry, 3D printing, and virtual reality.\n\nChong Zeng is a s
enior undergraduate student studying Computer Science and Technology at Zh
ejiang University. He is the team leader of our school's super-computing t
eam. His research interests include computer vision, computer graphics, de
ep learning, and high-performance computing.\n\nRegistration Category: Tec
