Biography
Tobias Burnus is a senior software developer at Siemens Digital Industries. He got his doctorate in Physics in 2008 of the University of Cologne, Germany. His main area of scientific research was development and application of numerical code mainly using density-functional theory for solid-state systems before moving to industry in 2012. Since 2006 he is contributing to the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC). At Siemens, he continues to work on GCC with a focus on OpenMP, OpenACC, offloading and Fortran. He is also representing Siemens in the specification meetings of the OpenMP ARB (Architecture Review Boards)
