Biography
Andrew Myers is a member of the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering (CCSE) at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). His research focuses on the design and implementation of scalable parallel algorithms for conducting particle and particle-mesh simulations on current and upcoming supercomputing architectures, particularly in the context of adaptive mesh refinement. He is a contributor to the open-source Particle-in-Cell code WarpX, as well as the massively parallel adaptive mesh refinement framework AMReX. He completed his PhD in Physics at the University of California, Berkeley.
